Description
DuoDERM Hydroactive Gel is a sterile, clear hydrocolloid gel that can both release moisture into dry wounds and absorb more than double its weight in exudate (drainage) depending on the condition of the wound environment. It is indicated for use on both chronic and acute wounds and partial and full thickness wounds, such as pressure sores and leg ulcers and skin conditions including:
Dry wounds with or without depth to create a moist wound environment Necrotic and sloughy wounds
Cavity wounds to fill the wound and reduce dead space
Skin conditions resulting from radiation dermatitis
This product does not contain latex.
