Mepilex® Border Sacrum Ag is an all-in-one antimicrobial foam dressing designed for medium to high exuding sacral pressure ulcers, wounds such as the surgical excision of a pilonidal cyst, and where properties are is indicated. According to a recent international consensus, antimicrobial properties are indicated to inactivate wound related pathogens1. Mepilex® Border Ag, with Safetac® technology, is proven to minimize pain and skin damage at dressing changes2,3. Mepilex® Border Sacrum Ag contains an ionic silver, that when activated by wound fluid, provides antimicrobial effect within 30 minutes.
