Description
Alione Hydrocapillary Dressing’s high Moisture Vapour Transfer Rate (MVTR) makes it the ideal choice for highly exuding wounds. Clinical studies have proven Alione to reduce leakage, help prevent maceration and reduce dressing changes per week.
The non-adherent wound contact layer separates the hydrocapillary pad from the wound and the peri-ulcer skin, which helps to maintain the optimal moist environment for healing.
Alione‘s hydrocapillary pad absorbs exudate vertically and distributes it horizontally. The soft, low friction top film provides a water-resistant, bacteria proof, MRSA and HIV impermeable barrier.
Available in adhesive and non adhesive variants to meet the specific needs of your patient and the condition of the peri-ulcer skin.
Indications
Alione is indicated for the treatment of medium to highly exuding pressure ulcers and leg ulcers. The dressings may also be used to provide padding and protection for 2nd degree burns, diabetic wounds (primarily lower leg and foot), surgical wounds and skin abrasions.
Alione dressings are suitable for use under compression bandaging.
