| Indications | |
| Leukoplast Sleek tape is used to secure and protect dressings likely to be contaminated by water, oil or grease. It is therefore suitable for securing colostomy, ileostomy and incontinence products. Leukoplast Sleek strapping is also indicated for appliance fixation where strength and security are important. It can also be used for waterproofing the edges of plaster casts. | |
| Contraindications / Precautions | |
| Take care not to apply the tape too tightly, to avoid circulation problems. Should any numbness or tingling arise, remove tape and re-apply less tightly. As with all adhesive products, apply and remove carefully from sensitive or fragile skin. Do not use if sensitive to adhesive plasters. |
